Welcome to our Pack!

Cub Scout Pack 199

Pack 199 is located in Oldwick, New Jersey and is part of the Hunterdon Arrowhead District and Washington Crossing Council.

Our meetings are generally held the third Friday of every month at 7:00pm at the Tewksbury Elementary School on 109 Fairmont Road East (as long as school is in session). See the Pack Calendar for the next pack meeting date.

Scouting is an excellent way to make new friends, learn something new and have fun. When's the last time you went camping, hiked a nature trail, acted in a skit or got to do something out of the ordinary? If you are interested in seeing what it's all about, use the Contact Us link at left or better yet, stop by one of our meetings. We would be happy to show you around.

For older children who have come to this website, the Scouts program is available to those who are 11 through 17 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness. Visit the BSA Troop 199 website for additional information.

Scout Sunday

Posted on Feb 9 2019 - 9:25pm

This Sunday is Scout Sunday. One of the most important Scout Days on the calendar.

Not only is it the day to be Reverent, but it is also a day to show our appreciation to our Sponsor Organization, Zion Lutheran
who has support our Troop for over 50 years.

Additionally, this year's Scout Sunday will be the last that Pastor Summers will facilitate. He will be retiring this year and we
want to honor him after 30+ years supporting the Troop.

We want to make sure we have a great showing at this Sunday's Sermon. Further, Troop 199 and their leaders will be attending as well.

Please make all effort to attend: Sunday at 9:45 am with Services starting at 10:00

Scouting For Food Day

Posted on Feb 2 2019 - 10:33pm
Scouting For Food Day

Scouting For Food Day is a district wide event to raise food for local pantries on Saturday 2/9.

The collection will last from 10AM to  2PM at the Branchburg Shoprite with two shifts (10AM-12PM, 12PM-2PM) and we
can take about
5 scouts per shift, 2 adults are also needed for each shift
If needed, more shifts can be opened.

To give you an idea of what food day is- we will set up a station at the front entrance to hand out shopping/idea lists to
customers as they walk in- they can then buy those items  in the store and bring them back to us as they leave. At the
end of the day, all of the food that has been collected will be delivered to local food pantries– our collections will go to
the Starfish Food Pantry in Whitehouse Station. Last year, 27,600 pounds of food was collected across the county, so
please come out to take part in this amazing event.
